Edith is a two-story, 2-bedroom, 2-bath ADU with a deck, and one of the largest two-story ADUs we’ve designed to date. The family envisioned a space that could comfortably host visiting parents for extended stays while feeling like a true extension of their main home.

The ground floor features a bright yet compact living area paired with an L-shaped kitchen, finished in fresh coastal blue and white tones and accented by a striking ornamental blue backsplash. The downstairs bedroom is warm and inviting, complete with an ensuite bathroom showcasing beautiful green-and-white hexagon tile.

Heading upstairs, a custom rift white oak shelving unit lines the stair landing, thoughtfully designed to display books and art while incorporating a built-in mudroom moment. The upper level opens into a spacious, light-filled room, used by the homeowners as a home gym and yoga studio, but equally suited as a guest bedroom or flexible retreat. Just off this space is a dedicated home office with custom white oak cabinetry, perfect for working from home.

The upstairs bathroom is a true standout, wrapped entirely in elegant European white and coral tile that transforms the space into something truly special. The upper level also opens onto a generous deck with sweeping Bay views, an ideal setting for relaxing or entertaining.
